CHILDREN'S PROGRAM

The emphasis in these courses is on exploring movement and music, structure, and exploring a love for dance. 

Preballet (Children's 1)                                
Ages 3-4.  No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement.
  
Preballet 2 (Children's 2)      
Ages 5-7.  Basic ballet steps and creative movement.  One year in Preballet required if 4, or age 5 for beginners.

 

DAY PROGRAM(Intermediate & Advanced Levels)

Students with alternative academic programs can take advantage of our day conservatory classes. We offer both intermediate and advanced level classes. These programs include technique, strength and flexibility training, variations and contemporary.

 

 

INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM

Students focus on correct alignment and placement, focus and more detailed technical training. Students are gradually introduced to a wider variety of classes, including Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Conditioning and Flexibility.

Ballet 1-2
Approximate ages 7-9.  Beginner-intermediate. 2-3 years prior training. Two days/week required.



Ballet 3-4
Approximate Ages 9-11. Intermediate. 3-4 years prior training. Two days/week required. Three days/week recommended.



Ballet 5

Approximate ages 10 and up.  Intermediate with 5-6 years prior training. Emphasis on pointe preparation. Three days/week required. Four days/week recommended.

Ballet 6
Approximate ages 10- up.  Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on pointe technique and performance
. ThreeFour days/week required.  

 

ADVANCED PROGRAM (Pre-Professional)

The goal of this program is to train students to use their bodies correctly by instructing them on anatomy, kinetics, coordination, and alignment. The curriculum includes strength and flexibility training in addition to advanced technical training. Artistically, our program provides students with both a rich knowledge of classical ballet technique and the ability to adapt to all styles of dance. Participation in our Performance Company is strongly encouraged, as experience is truly the only way to learn to be a professional performer. 

Trainee 
Approximate ages 12-up, by audition.  Pre-professional Class. Four classes/week required for registered students. Four days/week required. Five-six days/week recommended.



Apprentice 1
Approximate ages 12-up, by audition.  Pre-professional Class. Four classes/week required for registered students. Four days/week required. Five-six days/week recommended.



Apprentice 2

Approximate ages 12-up, by audition.  Pre-professional Class. Four classes/week required for registered students. Four days/week required. Five-six days/week recommended.

 

Open School Program 

Sometimes students have multiple interests, or are involved in an advanced and/or heavy academic program, which prevents them from participating in our pre-professional programs. The Open School PROGRAM allows students to receive our top quality training in a more flexible structure and schedule. Dancers choose the number of days they enroll.

Approximate ages 12-up.  Choose between 1-6 days of training, depending on your needs. 



 

ADULT PROGRAM

Adult Strength & Conditioning (All Levels Welcome)
